The electric kettle is a very common and handy little kitchen appliance, because of its convenience and quicker boiling than a stove top kettle. With colder temperatures approaching it gets used even more at my house. And that means even more cleaning is necessary. In this post I'll show you how easy it's done.
Pour equal quantity of water and vinegar into a kettle. Boil the solution in a kettle couple of times (my kettle turns off automatically, so I run 2 boiling cycle).
Let the vinegar solution cool to warm temperature before pouring out of the kettle. Unplug the power from a kettle, pour the solution out of the kettle.
Using soapy sponge lather a kettle and rinse well under running water and allow it to dry completely before use.
After a kettle dries out boil water in the kettle once again to remove the remaining traces of the vinegar.
Dump the water and then kettle is good to be used again.
